At my school, I take a class called Video Production, and I'm in the advanced third year class. As stressful as it can be sometimes, I have to say that I'm glad to be here. We just finished doing announcements, which are 28 minute segments for the school's television channel that airs twice each year. I was in charge of the first set, along with my friend Carson, and it was really stressful! Right now, each student is doing a "Tahoma Life" video assignment. In this video, we have to have a no longer than one minute explanation of what it's like to live the life of a Tahomie. Needless to say, I'm a bit behind on this assignment thanks to Thanksgiving break, but thankfully, my teacher extended the deadline (which was originally in one more class). I went out and filmed today, oh, but here's a little bit of daily drama for you:
I bring a salad every day to school for lunch. I went out to the cafeteria before I began filming because my stomach hurt and I needed to eat some food. The cafeteria lady was behind her little salad bar, and I stepped in and politely asked "May I grab a fork?" and I could see them less than 10 feet away. She glanced over at them and then back to me before rudely telling me that I couldn't get a fork, and that she was "sorry." Jerk. All I wanted was a fork.

I Am Thankful...
Today is Thanksgiving : ) and as my dad sits and watches the Dallas Cowboys vs. Saints, I thought I'd talk about a few things that I am thankful for, that aren't so materialistic.
I am thankful for my Caitlin. No one could have a better friend than she is to me, and without her in my life, I'd have no laughter. We've gone through thick and thin together, and even when we're at eachother's throats, we pull through. I am thankful.
I am thankful for my Dmitriy. He can bring me up from my lowest lows, and nothing makes me happier than sitting in his little powder blue geo with his gloves on my little hands, and a panda express meal in my lap. I am thankful.
I am thankful for my boyfriend, Brandon. People don't believe that people as young as myself can really find someone to want to be with, but I have, and I am thankful for that. He brings a smile to my face all of the time, as well as butterflies in my stomach!I am thankful.
I am thankful for my health, my wisdom, and other strengths that God has given me. Sometimes I may feel down and out of touch with myself and others, but I always know that I'll bounce right back if I just keep moving. I am thankful that I have been given this life to live...the love that I was given to share...and the love that I receive. God, I am thankful.
As today ends, if you're reading this, think about what you're thankful for. I hope you've all had a wonderful Thanksgiving : )

A Poor Introduction
This is me, and my name is Kailei. I'm currently living in Washington State in a tiny little town. I'm honestly not good at telling people about myself, because I'm always changing. There are the basics, like being a girl and liking the color pink and having a BFF that does everything with me, there isn't much that I can say! I believe in God. I love all that I can, and while I do occasionally get irritated and say naughty things that I shouldn't, that's life : ) and I try to be the best person that I can be.
Let's introduce some of the main characters in the play that I like to call "Life!"

I'm not sure what I'll keep this blog for...maybe it will turn into a daily thing where I can journal all of my events, or maybe I'll just forget about it. We'll see.
