Tahoma Life

At my school, I take a class called Video Production, and I'm in the advanced third year class. As stressful as it can be sometimes, I have to say that I'm glad to be here. We just finished doing announcements, which are 28 minute segments for the school's television channel that airs twice each year. I was in charge of the first set, along with my friend Carson, and it was really stressful! Right now, each student is doing a "Tahoma Life" video assignment. In this video, we have to have a no longer than one minute explanation of what it's like to live the life of a Tahomie. Needless to say, I'm a bit behind on this assignment thanks to Thanksgiving break, but thankfully, my teacher extended the deadline (which was originally in one more class). I went out and filmed today, oh, but here's a little bit of daily drama for you:

I bring a salad every day to school for lunch. I went out to the cafeteria before I began filming because my stomach hurt and I needed to eat some food. The cafeteria lady was behind her little salad bar, and I stepped in and politely asked "May I grab a fork?" and I could see them less than 10 feet away. She glanced over at them and then back to me before rudely telling me that I couldn't get a fork, and that she was "sorry." Jerk. All I wanted was a fork.
